Billy Talent frontman Ben Kowalewiczwill do the hosting honors at the upcoming Juno Gala Dinner and Awards at the London Convention Centre on March 16, the day before the televised Juno show that Sarah McLachlan is hosting.
"I'm very excited to be part of this years Juno Gala," the singer told Billboard. "I think having a host who has also been there as a nominee offers a bit of a different perspective than years past. Should be a fun night!"
Billy Talent has won seven Juno Awards and been nominated 22 times. The multi-platinum-selling band is signed to Warner Music Canada.
Kowalewicz will preside over the lengthy celebration of Canadian music, where the majority of the Juno trophies (36 of the 42) are handed out, in addition to the special achievement awards. (Only six awards, plus the Hall of Fame, are presented on TV.)
