Evanescence is out now with the video for “Use My Voice,” their new single that “captures the current socio-political zeitgeist of advocacy and activism” (MTV) – the visuals follow frontwoman Amy Lee, her bandmates, and a diverse group of citizens as they unite for change and justice.

Watch the video for “Use My Voice,” directed by acclaimed filmmaker Eric HowellHERE.  Lee first met Howell back in 2015 when she was asked to write the end title theme for his film, Voice From The Stone, starring Emilia Clarke of Game of Thrones fame.

Beginning with Amy alone in the dark and ending in a collective light-filled demonstration as the day breaks, the video serves as a hopeful metaphor of moving from darkness into a more illuminated future by being heard.

Earlier this month, Evanescence partnered with HeadCount, one of the leading non-partisan, non-profit voter information services to help people navigate the registration and voting process by providing information on options to vote safely during COVID. Check out the “Use My Voice” PSA, and go to UseMyVoice.org to get registered, check your registration, or learn more about your candidates.

And watch Amy speak with CBS This Morning’s Anthony Mason HERE about HeadCount, “Use My Voice,” and the process of collaborating on it with some very special guests: Lzzy Hale (also featured in the video), Taylor Momsen, Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Deena Jakoub (VERIDIA), Lindsey Stirling, and more, who all contribute vocals to the song.

“We are proud to stand up and join the fight against the injustice, lies and oppression that plague our country and the world. No matter who you are, what you look like, where you come from or who you love, your voice matters. We hope to shine a light in the darkness, to empower and inspire. Use your voice. Vote.” – Amy Lee

“Use My Voice” follows the critically acclaimed singles “Wasted on You,” and “The Game is Over” as the third song and video to be released early from the forthcoming The Bitter Truth, Evanescence’s first new album of all new material in nearly a decade. Being released incrementally, The Bitter Truth promises fans more of the heavy, vocal-driven, and expertly-arranged rock for which Evanescence is known.
