SEE A CLIP OF SAINT ASONIA'S NEW VIDEO FOR ‘THE HUNTED’ STARRING YOU!
Saint Asonia have released a unique 30-second preview of their music video for “The Hunted.” The clip was released via Snapchat with a Lens that allows users to immerse themselves into a pivotal scene in the video.
The group released the special Lens on their social media accounts, which is featured in Lens Explorer, Snapchat’s hub to help users discover Lenses made by the community. It was created with Lens Studio, a free desktop app that allows anyone to create an individual Lens for Snapchat. The studio just unveiled six new templates, including a Face In Video feature, which places the user’s face into the video. Saint Asonia are the first band to utilize this new feature.
To open the Lens Explorer, open Snapchat and click here. Tap the smiley icon that appears on the app when the Lens Carousel is active. The clip, which is an excerpt from the forthcoming full-length video directed by P.R. Brown, turns the user into a wolf who chases a woman through the woods. The end of the preview clip features a twist that may surprise fans.
Saint Ansonia latest single “The Hunted,” features Godsmack’s Sully Erna. Frontman Adam Gontier says the song is about "struggling to find your place in life." He adds, “It’s a solid representation of the direction Saint Asonia is headed. I’m excited to share this with the world. And it’s an awesome bonus having Sully from Godsmack guesting on it.”
The song will be featured on the band’s forthcoming album Flawed Design, which is due out this fall. The effort is the follow-up to the group's 2015 self-titled debut, which spawned the hit singles "Better Place" and "Let Me Live My Life."
